INTRODUCTION

FEDS is VGCE’s solution in addressing and embracing the frequent challenges faced by our onshore and offshore clientele in Fabrication, Engineering, Design and Services requirements worldwide.

Initially, when company VGCE was formed, it was primarily providing anti-corrosion treatments and protection services only. However, there was also a need in providing engineered solutions to support the anti-corrosion aspect of the business. VGCE’s clients are extremely satisfied with the added expertise and are frequently requiring FEDS – VGCE’s Services.

VGCE a Vietnam based company has done projects as far afield as Egypt, Ghana, India and of course Southeast Asia. With the increasing demand for more support services throughout the world, VGCE proudly expanded their base to Qatar under the flagship of FEDS ENGINEERING W.L.L.

A BRIEF HISTORY BEHIND OUR ROOTS AND HERITAGE

GCE Malaysia and Nautika-GCE (NGCE) Brunei was established in 1993. Both companies carried out services throughout Southeast Asia providing comprehensive NDT Inspections, Scaffolding, IRATA Rope Access, Steel Replacement, Blasting and Painting, Coating Application and Repair Maintenance Solutions based on the application in range of High Technology Coatings and Composites in Power Stations, Water Treatment Plants, Chemical Plants, Platforms, FPSO’s and Offshore Drilling Rigs to name a few. Almost 10 years later, GCE expanded once again and established Vietnam GloCoating Engineering (VGCE), a separate entity based in Vung Tau, Vietnam in 2002 as a “Representative Office”. Subsequently, the “Representative Office” was granted an Operating License in April 2007 and became VGCE head office.

The VGCE head office in Vung Tau houses their HSE, Material, Accounting, Procurement and Sale departments. Initially, VGCE conducted almost all their services onsite at their client’ location but with the rapid growing demand for specialized projects to be carried out in-house, VGCE opened up their Workshop facilities also in Vung Tau, Vietnam. It was then that VGCE’s Fabrication, Engineering, Design Services department was formed proving to be a department worthy of its own division with the establishment of FEDS – VGCE.
